I am really looking forward to serving the residents of St. Leonard’s Ward on the Town Council having topped the poll in the recent elections. I have lived in St. Anne’s for most of my life, and at my current address since 1986.
I have spent over 30 years in the Civil Service at the Bonds and Stock Office and the Lytham District Land Registry where I was a plans officer. I hope to bring this experience to bear on the Planning Committee. I am currently employed as a Personal Search Agent where I visit Town Halls all over Lancashire, collecting information on Land Charges, Conservation Areas and Planning Consent details.
I have supported the many charities of the Mayor of The St. Anne’s Town Council, the Lions Club swim marathon, and am a Supporter of Ashton Gardens, King George V Park. I am a member of Fylde Civic Awareness Group and act as Secretary to the PACT meetings held in Ashton Ward.
Subject to the approval of the approval of The Lord Chancellor and Lord Chief Justice, I hope to commence formal training and take up appointment as a Magistrate on the Fylde Coast Bench later this year.
My spare time is happily spent with my son and helping on a friend’s allotment.
