The Town Council purchased and created Blundell Road Allotments in 2011.

The site has 30 small size taster plots with communal ‘brew shed’, greenhouse, polytunnel tool shed, composting toilet, compost bins etc.

The site is an excellent example of community involvement and activity as groups and local residents have all  become involved.

The site is managed and maintained by St. Anne’s on the Sea Town Council, plot holders and Green Shoots contractors.

Tenants meet on a monthly basis to discuss site management, maintenance, improvements and to catch up with each other. The Town Council is represented by an Councillor and Officer.

Tenants maintain a Facebook group for members:

Plots are available to rent on an annual basis. The initial cost is £10 per plot, £3 for insurance and £25 deposit. To add your name to the waiting list please e-mail info@stannesonthesea-tc.gov.uk.
