Together with the St. Anne’s Town Council officers, we are a working group for Community and Neighbourhood Activities. Our aim is to organise events and activities for the residents, businesses, and visitors to St Annes to bring our community together and encourage everyone to shop local.We have some exciting things in the pipeline for the coming year and beyond, please watch this space! The Allotments site at Shepherd Road is managed by the Town Council working with the Allotment Society.
The Town Council manages and administers the waiting list and collection of rent on behalf of the site.
The Town Council purchased and created Blundell Road Allotments in 2011.
The site has 30 small size taster plots with communal ‘brew shed’, greenhouse, polytunnel tool shed, composting toilet, compost bins etc.
The site is an excellent example of community involvement and activity as groups and local residents have all become involved.
The site is managed and maintained by St. Anne’s on the Sea Town Council, plot holders and Green Shoots contractors.
Tenants meet on a monthly basis to discuss site management, maintenance, improvements and to catch up with each other. The Town Council is represented by an Councillor and Officer.

Blundell Road Community Allotments have been nominated for numerous Neighbourhood Awards arising from it’s involvement in the St. Anne’s in Bloom competitions.
Plots are available to rent on an annual basis. The initial cost is £10 per plot, £3 for insurance and £25 deposit. To add your name to the waiting list please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
On 24 May 2017 Fylde Borough Council decided to make the Saint Anne’s on The Sea Neighbourhood Development Plan, under 38A(4)(a) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004. The Saint Anne’s on the Sea Neighbourhood Development Plan now forms part of the Development Plan for Fylde Borough Council and will be used in the determination of planning applications within the St. Anne’s on Sea parish.
